How do I get my boyfriend to trust and talk to me more?

How Should I Break Up With Him?

-I've been dating my boyfriend for 3 months now, and while he is a good guy, our relationship doesn't seem to be faring too well. [He is 21, I'm 18]

He has a bit of a drinking problem, and doesn't listen to me when I say that it bothers me when he drinks. He went so far as to put me in a situation where he had a couple of drinks and then a few hours later was my only way home. The next day, on my birthday,he did not give me a gift of any sort (I told him to get me something inexpensive but cute, so he really didn't have an excuse that what I wanted wasn't financially attainable for him), and was unavailable all day until about 10pm, when he had me drive to his house to sit on the couch with him and his best friend (whom I do NOT like) and his best friend's girlfriend and watch a TV show I had never heard of, while he and his best friend got drunk.

I feel like I don't mean as much to him as I should, he often chooses the gym over me, and I'm growing very fed up with being little more than a continuous hookup with a title.

-Okay, so I am writing a book, and the main character is EXTREMELY confused about his relationship...he is currently dating Brenna, a girl that he has been seeing for a month. i'd get with claire, she sounds hotter. besides, i'm experiencing great lust for her and you only live once. plus i love her and stuff.All great books have some type of scandal in them. If I was writing it, I would have him sleep with the Claire character, and date the other one. Keep the relationship line confusing, and then at some point have him sleep with Brenna. Shortly after that let Brenna catch him in bed with Claire, and then make it a really dramatic decision, of whom to chose.
He should stop seeing Brenna. Obviously him and Claire have a lot in common because they were best friends first and if he is sexually attracted to her and she likes him then it's just not fair to involve Brenna in that. He will just devastate Brenna. He should cut her lose before things get messy.

If you're underage, then get an older cousin/friend that is 18 to buy it. A lot of the time girls freak out, and think that they're pregnant after having sex but that isn't always the case. So make sure she is first.

-Why do some guys wait to text a girl back? For example, the guy I'm talking to, we'll be texting for hours, and then he'll say something that I feel like doesn't need a response, so I won't say anything and I'll wait for him to text me again, which will sometimes be days later. I was super nervous and i'm sure everyone could tell, but i played it cool. We all went down in the basement where the tv area was and we put in a movie. About halfway through the movie my friend got up and said that she "needed to use the bathroom" so she got up and left while my boyfriend and i were there all alone. 16 is a bit young to be having sex and oral sex is still sex. However if you emotionally ready for the consequences it's your life and your choice. By 16 you should at least understand that sex causes pregnancy and any version of sex can lead to std's.

If your guy wants to give you oral it most likely shows that he wants to give you as much pleasure as you give him. Just be careful because one thing tends to lead to another so make sure that both of you are on the same page that you aren't ready for penetration sex. You don't want to mislead your partner as it will cause problems later if he tries to go for it in the middle of things and you aren't ready to go that far.
