Do I even stand a chance?! (guys & girls pleaaase) :)?

So I've known this great guy for about 5 years but he's 2 years older than me and likes my friend who is 3/4 years older than me.. but my friend has a boyfriend and doesn't like the guy i like at all.. but its very obvious that the guy i like still likes this girl but knows he has NO chance.

I use to act all childish and play around with him like a brother because I didn't have feelings for him yet.. then things changed and i guess i opened my eyes lol..



So today I went to the pool and my friend was there with my sister, her two friends, my mom, my dad, brother, and HIM. I had no clue he would be there.. I could barely be myself and was nervous the whole 3 hrs.. not too bad though I still acted like myself... so do you think he'll ever think of me the way I think of him? How can I catch his attention and make him realize those 2 yrs are nothing...?

You need to start flirting a little more. Don't come on too strong, but just mess around with him, laugh at his jokes more often, try smiling a lot. That kind of stuff. Maybe even tell him he's cute.



He will definitely start seeing you that way when you start flirting, and once you've got him noticing you, ask him out before he thinks he's misreading the signals.



Thanks for answering my question* btw.(:honestly, i had a guy i acted like a brother around and we fell in love, normally, thats what happens, but, when two friends like that fall in love, neither of them will say anything cuz its weird and you dont wanna make things awkward, so either you gotta say something, or get your friend to ask him. good luck :)
Well, first of all dont be shy! Cuz i am 2 hahaha but you should i dont know.. talk to him or just dont be to childish when his around and maybe he'll notice that you r changing, but if that doesn't happen, well you should really talk to him ^^ about your feelings and that stuff! ;)
let him know how you feel maybe he feels the same about you :) and just do what you're doing, act like yourself :)
