-Okay so how do you know when a shy guy likes you?
What are the signs? And is talking really fast one of them? Shy guys only please :) ThankyouThey'll say stupid things or mess up their words and their voice will become softer and quiet when you're around. They won't be able to face you directly or give you sustained eye contact - they'll tend to shoot glances at you and look away.
In most cases, they won't actually be frigid but they'll respect you too much by not initiating body contact. Therefore, when you rub againt them or hold their hand or something, they won't protest against it cause they enjoy it, but they'll be too afraid that they might stiffen and perspire.
They tend to act dramatically when they see you with another guy or flirting or getting with someone else if they like you, but they won't show it around you. In other words, they won't be able to act or function rationally as they would want to. For example, they probably won't be very good conversationalists because they're too worried about what to say that they forget about tone, diction and all that. They'll tend to rehearse entire dialogues so they're lines may come across as a bit douchey and corny. Conversations with them will tend to be a bit drab - think of it as talking to the partner your teacher has assigned you for a class project - you'll be talking but getting nowhere really.
At parties they'll be at the edges of the circle and will tend to be light drinkers because they're conscious of what people will think of them when they act drunk. In fact, they'll prefer to join a small group of 3 or 4 at a party so try to get into there and then as the evening progresses get closer to him and eventually pull him aside so it's just you and him.
