-Okay, so I am writing a book, and the main character is EXTREMELY confused about his relationship...he is currently dating Brenna, a girl that he has been seeing for a month. She loves him more than her own life, and would do anything for him...he loves her too, but there is a problem. His best friend, Claire, also has feelings for him that go beyond friendship. He not only loves her, but experiences great lust for her.
He is seriously confused about them, and does not know what to do or who to be with...what would you guys do in this situation?lol, well. first of all. i would dump the **** out of brenna; why the hell is she so completely infatuated with love for me after a month? more than her own life? jesus.
i'd get with claire, she sounds hotter. besides, i'm experiencing great lust for her and you only live once. plus i love her and stuff.All great books have some type of scandal in them. If I was writing it, I would have him sleep with the Claire character, and date the other one. Keep the relationship line confusing, and then at some point have him sleep with Brenna. Shortly after that let Brenna catch him in bed with Claire, and then make it a really dramatic decision, of whom to chose.
He should stop seeing Brenna. Obviously him and Claire have a lot in common because they were best friends first and if he is sexually attracted to her and she likes him then it's just not fair to involve Brenna in that. He will just devastate Brenna. He should cut her lose before things get messy.
I'd get him to stick with Brenna.. he's already dating her and his battle to overcome his lust for Claire would be interesting to read about.
