In my world (which is probably very different from yours), being a 19-year-old virgin is nothing out of the ordinary. Hell, waiting til marriage for sex is considered standard.

Why would they find it cute? Cause you're a guy, and in your area guys at your age who are virgins may be really rare. Guys are generalised to be much more ... how should I put it? Much more carefree and experienced when it comes to sex.
Maybe they admire the fact you're not like most 19 year old boys, but if it bothers you, then get rid of your virginity. In general girls who gawk at you, and say 'aww your cute' are not interested in you romantically. I wouldn't mention your a virgin to just anyone, it may turn some girls off.
Yes it is very true that girls find the good boy innocence sexy, there is nothing wrong with you still being a virgin, it's quite good to know that there are guys with morals still out there.
We say it because we look at it as if its very cute. Its REALLY hard to find a guy who is a virgin. Especially at your age. Look at it as a compliment.
