What hasn't she replied? what went wrong in this?

-This is a little long but I would really appreciate it if you take the time and put some thoughts into this



Met this girl on vacation. The same night I met her I texted and she didn't reply so I moved on. A month after the vacation she texted me who I was and that she said she lost her phone and just got a new one. At this point I don't quite remember to who she was but I came up with a fun game to play with her in figuring out each other. She played along and thought it was cute and I got to know her a little bit. We flirted for a while. I wanted to ask her out to meet her soon but she was on another trip so I waited a little. The last game we played I told her if she win, she'll get a prize. She told me to make it easy and that the prize better be a good one and not just a "Congrat" text.So I did and when she won, I called her to tell her what she won because I didn't want to just text her because it feels indirect and it was about time we talk. But she didn't pick up so I left her a message telling her that she will have to come see the prize in person. No response until like 12 at night saying that she was sorry for missing my call and that she is at a party and to tell her what the prize is and a second text was some sad faces when I didn't reply. Now at this point I wasn't ignoring her but I was asleep and didn't saw the text until next morning. I texted her back around noon the next day to tell her that I fell asleep and I will call her when I get off work. She texted me saying that she totally forgot to text me back last night and that not to worry about it. This was the last text I got from her. I called her in the evening, didn't pick up, texted her and finally told her wat the big prize was which is taking her out on a nice date. Didn't respond, So I texted her again next day asking if she was disappointed with the prize? and that I was only trying to meet her.



So what did I do wrong? Is it the prize part? Is it that fact that I didn't get back to her text messages right away? Is it because I called her? Or could she have lost her phone and forgot to text me back. I felt like everything was going great and just talking to her, she seem like such a great girl so I'm really confused. Thanks for reading this long as storyPhone tag sucks. But to me this girl sounds like she is A) Either really busy or B) giving you the hardcore runaround. Either way, I'd just keep it as friends who text each other and move on.Boy, everything was easier in the old days. Back then, you picked up a phone, called someone, got to know them, then if all that went well, ask for a date. Now-a-days, everyone is hung up on texting. Everyone is looking for hidden messages and making their lives more difficult then it needs be. If you don't get a reply, then she doesn't want to talk to you - easy enough. If she doesn't want to commit on going out on a date - then she doesn't want to see you - easy enough. Move on.
