Guys- Is he a creep or at the end of his relationship?

-I found out that this guy at work (we work in finance) thought i was "incredibly attractive" according to one of my co-workers from the day i walked into the interview (very strange bc i didn't know who he even was). We have a professional and polite relationship. Just "hellos" and "byes" when we see each other in the halls. Recently he has started to flirt with me at work - telling me he wishes I came out to the company happy hour and how he wanted to see me there. Then he's been flirting pretty aggressively by email but in an innocent way- nothing inappropriate.



Now I found out from a very close co-worker who is also very good friends with this guy that he has a fiance although he is not happy in the relationship. He was going to either get engaged or breakup with her but he chose to get engaged.



What does this whole thing say about him? BTW- I'm 24 and he's 27.He is at the end of his relationship and wants to start a relationship with you obviously. I though, don't like him. The guy is engaged and is flurting? How admirable! I say you can respond to him if you want to but do not even think of going out with him if he asks you until he decides what he's going to do about his fiance. Also, expect the same from him one day when he finds another attractive woman.
